Edubrium creates inclusive livelihood opportunities for underserved communities, helping people build skills, access markets, earn sustainable incomes, and participate in economic life with dignity.
Edubrium Institute Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit organisation established in December 2023 and based in Imphal, Manipur. The organisation works towards creating sustainable economic opportunities for underserved communities through community-led enterprise, skill development, production support, and market linkage. Edubrium currently focuses on the deaf and hearing-impaired community through its flagship initiative, Sign Crafts. Rather than limiting its work to one-time training, the organisation seeks to connect skills with production, production with markets, and markets with sustainable income. The organisation supports small community production groups and encourages collective participation, ownership, and locally viable enterprise models. Through this approach, Edubrium aims to strengthen economic participation and create more resilient livelihood opportunities for communities that are often excluded from mainstream economic systems.
